Benefits of the Golden Visa, the Green Visa, and more: On October 3, new UAE visa regulations will go into force.
Starting from October 3, 2022, several new visa rules will come into effect in the UAE. These new rules include the Green Visa, Job Exploration Visa, and Golden Visa. These visas are expected to benefit the UAE's economy and attract more skilled professionals to the country.
The Green Visa is a renewable two-year residency visa that allows investors, entrepreneurs, and specialized talents in the fields of science, medicine, and research to work and live in the UAE. This visa is aimed at promoting sustainable development and innovation in the country, as well as attracting more foreign investment.
The Green visa is a type of residency permit that provides additional benefits for family members compared to the regular residence visa. These benefits include easy issuance of residence permits for spouses, children, and first-degree relatives, the ability to sponsor male children up to the age of 25 (previously 18), and no age limit for unmarried daughters. Additionally, children with special needs (determination) are granted a residence permit regardless of their age. The Green visa also offers longer and more flexible grace periods, allowing individuals to stay in the UAE for up to six months after their residence permit has expired or been cancelled. This type of visa is available for three categories of people, namely freelancers/self-employed individuals, skilled employees, and investors or partners.
The Job Exploration Visa is a six-month visa that allows individuals who are not currently employed to enter the UAE and explore employment opportunities. This visa is aimed at encouraging skilled professionals to come to the UAE and contribute to its economy.
The Golden Visa is a long-term residency visa that can be obtained by investors, entrepreneurs, and individuals with exceptional talents in fields such as science, medicine, research, and art. This visa is valid for five or ten years and can be renewed, and it allows its holders to work and live in the UAE without the need for a national sponsor.
Under the new visa system, individuals are allowed to enter the country for various purposes with flexible visit periods, and the option to renew their visa easily for up to one year without the need for a sponsor. This allows visitors and job seekers to pursue their goals without unnecessary constraints.
Overall, these new visa rules are expected to have a positive impact on the UAE's economy and its reputation as a business and tourism hub.
