Customers and visitors to ICA centres should be aware of new precautionary measures established by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship on Saturday.
Visitors, customers, and workers who have gotten two doses of any UAE-approved vaccine will be allowed to enter ICA centres starting August 1.
Employees of the ICA have been spared from the new protocols, according to a statement released by the body.
Unvaccinated people who present a negative PCR test that is valid for 48 hours will also be allowed to access the centres. Unvaccinated people with a valid negative PCR test with a 48-hour validity period and an exception from competent health authorities will also be allowed to access the centres.
In the meantime, visitors under the age of 16 are exempt from the new requirements.
