No more Visa Stamping in passport
New update: No more Visa Stamping in passport!!!
Beginning on Monday, December 12, Emirates ID cards will be accepted in place of passport stickers and stamps as evidence of current UAE residency.
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICA) informed business owners in the country that the new policy will result in the elimination of residency stamps for expats.
According to what is known, the new technique will be communicated to airlines so that they can compare passport numbers against Emirates ID cards, which contain information on residency, to confirm the legitimacy of a resident's status.
Please be updated with AlNahda Centre for new informations
