Since the ICP is responsible for these affairs, they have come up with instructions on how to activate notifications in the UAEICP mobile application. Activating these notifications are crucial, as this could help individuals from avoiding potential fines.

iPhone Users

In iPhone, the process is straightforward. Navigate to settings, select the ‘Notifications’ option, and choose the UAEICP mobile app (you need to install the app first). From here, you can activate notifications that keep you alert on various information including document expiry dates.

Android Users

The process is quite similar in Android as well. Once you have installed and activated your account on the UAEICP app, go to settings and under notification, scroll down to the UAEICP app. Tap on the notifications toggle button to enable notifications. Once this is done, the app will remind you of deadlines and you can renew your documents before that.
